Thank you for praying
My mom got home from the hospital today. Thank you so much for praying for her. They say she has adult asthma, something new in her life. I also think she is on major overload with everything she has been enduring and not allowing her body to stop for rest. She had reactions to the medications, and now is going to be resting at home. Thank you for praying for her, and please continue to lift her in prayer.
Alexis goes to the hospital tomorrow, for labs, physical, shot, and getting all her medicine to start round 8 of these treatments. Please pray for her.

Also, please remember all the families, who are facing this new year without their loved ones. Pray for their comfort!
God bless you who read this, may your days be light and may you be healthy, and hug your loved ones, and tell them you love them!
Thank you!

Glad to hear your mom is back home and resting. I will continue to pray for her, Alexis and all of you. Take Care. Love Jodale
Oh dear Jill, you are so sweet to be ‘blessing’ those of us who read your posts. Amidst all you have going on in your life, it’s amazing that constantly open your heart and prayers to others facing illness and then above and beyond that, you still take the time concern yourself with the rest of us too. I find you truly inspiring and can’t even begin to imagine how a heart as big as yours continues to have more and more room for loving others. We love you so much! (by “we” I mean those of us who know you and anyone who even knows OF you!)
I am so glad to hear your mom is home and pray for the medications to help her soon. I also pray for Alexis to have as easy of a time with her tests as possible and not to feel pain or fear. I pray for her warm little smiles and giggles to keep your spirits up.
I send you a “God bless you” in return… even though I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He has blessed you long ago!
Love,
Joy
Jill–
You endure so much and always manage to sound so strong and are always asking for prayers of healing for others. My prayer for you and your family is for God to continue to watch over you and provide you with the comfort and peace which you all so deserve–and maybe a little less hospital time would be nice.
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Please let her know we are thinking of her and praying that her asthma medications will take hold soon so she can get some relief. She is such a lovely lady who is giving so much of herself. You certainly come by that same trait honestly.
I also pray that Alexis goes through her tests and treatments without too much pain and discomfort. God surely has that precious little one in the palm of his hand.
Your camera captures the essence of both children and they are truly beautiful. Austin looks like she is always watching out for her little sister and Alexis looks like she is enjoying just being a cute little toddler.
God Bless you and yours,
Jane P.
I am so glad your mom is able to be home. I have had asthma since I was 18 so know some of the struggles. Thank God they have some much improved medication to treat asthma. The results are good. When one thing does not work there is something else to try. I really attribute all the many people with asthma with things going on in the atmosphere. Somehow they have not figured it all out. Just look at all the green moss growing that was not here years ago. I know also that stress plays a big part. Being the kind of person you mom it will be hard for her to avoid stress in her life. That is going to be my prayer for her. This has ben an especially difficult year with all the mold and mildew in the air.
I will be especially in prayer for Alexis the next weeks and of course also for Austin and my friend Jill. Out of space Sending our love. Vera Blake
My granddaughter was here on Monday because of no school. And we love to play the game love you, love you more etc and she says all the way to infinity and she is only 7. I did not even know what infinity was at 7 years old
If you need help getting to the hospital let me know. I can play mom and grandmother. Love you
Hi, Jillian,
For some reason I was thinking of Stella this morning while I was getting ready to leave the house for work. I am so glad to hear she is home. Please let her know she has been on my mind and in my prayers.
I will keep Alexis in my prayers as she gets started on this next round of treatment.
Please tell Austin hello from me - - I hope to see you all soon.
Jeanne
Jill, We will continue to pray for your whole family and are thankful for all the answered prayers for you. May your precious mother get the rest she needs. Remember in the night someone is praying for you and your family.
Hugs, Kathi in Poulsbo
So many people who need the blessing of the Lord. Thank Goodness He is up to it. We continue to pray for your family. So happy to hear that the cause of your mother’s illness has been determined. Now she can manage the illness.
So many prayers have been answered. So many miracles have been granted. God is great and merciful and full of love. We pray that all those who have need will be comforted.
We pray for Alexis to handle her continuing treatments well and for the blessings to continue for her and your family.
All our love and prayers
John, Marlene and Michelle
Jill, I’m a past secretary at SCS and know of you and your family - Vera Blake and I go back a long way….have not written before this, but have been praying for Alexis since the beginning.
It has been so amazing how God has ministered to us through your strong faith and trust in Him. God is certainly in control of all that you and your family have endured and I believe that He will continued to heal and do great things for Alexis. You have been a witness to all you come in contact with.
I will continue praying for your whole family and healing for all.
In Christ, Darlene

I am so glad to hear that your mom is doing better! Thank you so much for always opening our eyes and hearts to others who are in need of prayer! You are such a dear friend to so many! I love the photos of the girls, they are so cute! I think I see a bit of mischeif in Alexis’s eyes that compliment the angelic look quite well! Austin is growing into such a compassionate and wonderful little lady! Hugs and kisses to you all!
