Blessings & Sunshine!
Alexis & Austin have been so busy! (mommy too) Enjoying sunshine, swim lessons, school, speech therapy and playing with their new puppy. (Puppies are more work than kids!)
Here is an awesome link to an organization, make sure to watch the slide show:

Also, don’t forget to listen around 1:30 pm, this Wed. to Kiss 106.1 FM, for our radio interview to try and help raise money for Seattle Children’s. Who knows what or if Alexis will talk??? You never know what she’ll do!
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.

What a great site for so many to see, read, support and for others to pray.
I was out of town for the radio interview. How did it go? Do you have a recorded copy for all of us to hear?
So fun to see you all today:)
We love you all!!
Jill, the Hostmark Hymn Singfolks will be praying for you and your family today! They always ask,”How is Alexis?” They are believing she is healed! I will tell them about the radio interview!

Hi Jill,
I will definitely tune into your interview on Weds. Cute pic of girls and the puppy. God Bless all of you
I will be listening on Wednesday too! What a pretty puppy, can’t wait to meet her.
I’ve set the reminder on my phone to tune in on Wednesday. What a blessing to be “busy” with everyday life! So glad you get to enjoy all the fun activities that your girlies bring your way. Puppies are more work than kids, indeed! But she is adorable and the girls clearly enjoy her.
Watched the slideshow with smiles and tears. What a great organization. Wish I was still a runner!
Excited to hear what Alexis has to share on Wednesday. Have a fun rest of the week.
Hugs!
Frank and I listened to the radio today. Was so sweet and so glad to hear from Alexis and Jill and Austin. The Twinkle Twinkle seems so much Alex. I don’t remember but I do know this song. Is that a good assessment? Hope all is going good with all o you. We are in better shape at our house. Take caew. Vera Blake
Hello Jill,
Little Katie and I tuned in yesterday. Jill, our family has been following your journey this whole time on this web site. You have shown such wisdom, courage, strength and developed your faith. I remember so well meeting sweet little Alexis right before that well child check up. So innocent, sweet, precious and perfect looking (despite any cradle cap or baby acnea you might have seen). Your family and Alexis have given us such personal strength to tackle our own challenges. As we moved from Thornewood, I developed Trigeminal Neuralgia “the suicide disease”. I never questioned why, I was never angry with God. Frustrated and struggled, of course, but I just figured it was something for me to go through. We are all a part of all of our experiences and the challenges make us who we are and develop our character. I thank you for sharing your life. Alexis such a tiny little burst of inspiration. As I was having a difficult time, I always thought of Alexis and all she has had to experience in her lifetime. It always gave me courage, strength and encouragement. A few minutes on the radio does not seem to capture all you have experienced at Children’s Hospital…Such a tremendous journey…such a beautiful child…a gift from God…I always appreciate your joy and pleasure at the small things that keep all of us moms going.
Alexis, Austin and Jill you were lovely to hear on the radio. You are My Sunshine is a lovely song but for now, Twinkle Twinkle will hold a special place in our hearts.
All our love and Prayers are always with you,
Dave, Heather, Chloe and Katie Nelson
