STOP TIME PLEASE!!!!!

Last Monday, this is what we did….

We had her 4 year “well check up”!  Yeah!  All looked great & normal! This is her fantastic pediatrician who we are so grateful for! She brought him the balloon.

There is a new clinic we will be adding to our lists of “follow ups” after treatment -stuff at Children’s.  But I will learn to be grateful for every car ride, schedulers, nurses and clinics to be attending.

Scans are on the 13th and 14th of July.  Man, we are close…

We will be doing it all this time, MIBG, CT, Bone Marrow Biopsies, labs, injections, follow up appointments, sedations …

ONE DAY AT A TIME!

(i am trying so hard to freeze time, it isn’t working…it’s slipping away from me way too fast!)

Last week, Alexis received 4 shots and she came down with a high temp of 104 on Wed, then on Friday, Austin came down with the same thing.  Alexis has learned compassion so well from her sister, I had to photograph it…We were at my mom’s, so the girl’s got extra TLC from 2 mommies.  Thank you Grammy!

This last information and prayer requests is taken from a fellow Neuroblastoma warrior’s website, written by his mother, whom we are in a online community for parents together, we share information, and tears and hope.

Her son Max’s website is:

Written by Mother to Max:

“Finally, our Neuroblastomacommunity has gained several angels over the past month.  It’s so surreal getting the message in your inbox that one more child has succumbed to this awful disease.  That’s part of the “new normal” that no one talks about — almost every week, another warrior loses his or her battle, and we share in it all.  Even if we didn’t interact with the family personally, we are all in this battle together, and when one loses, we all do.  Little pieces of my heart break off and fly to heaven witheach child who passes, and I know my pain is only the tiniest fraction of what their parents and families feel.  I know there is nothing we can do but be there to listen and to hold them up in prayer, so I’m asking you to remember the following folks in your own prayers tonight, who have all lost a beloved child in the past month:http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/missmelina)

*The family of 11 year-old Sarah Williams (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahw)
*The family of 4-year-old Ember (Hill)
*The family of 4-year-old Cody (Dutton)
*The family of 3-year-old Brenda Truong
*The family of 13-year-old Melina Riniolo”
