STABLE is the word of the week again! The bone marrow results came back in this evening, ALL CLEAR!!!
YEAH!!! We are still awaiting her neuroblastoma blood counts, they should be in tomorrow. Hopefully they will be in the “normal” range still.
Our meeting with the doctors went well, they reminded us that we aren’t out of the woods for relapse in any way. But these are great results!
Yes, she still has cancer.
No, it isn’t worse.
Yes, we have the best medical care in the world.
No, the hospital routine doesn’t scare her in any way.
Yes, she is very proud of how brave she is.
No, she isn’t in any pain now from the bone marrow biopsies.
Yes, she IS using it as an excuse! (No, mommy I can’t pick up my toys…my back hurts!)

It’s exactly 2 MONTHS till the AUCTION! I’m so excited!!!
It is April 25th, Saturday night. The Longhorn is donating all the catering, and donating the facility at the Truitt building in downtown Auburn. We can sell 200 seats this year! It’s theme is “Over the Rainbow” and it will be so MUCH fun!
Tickets are $25.00 each or $ 190.00 for a table of 8! So far, EVERYTHING is being DONATED! Last year, I believe over $11,000 was raised & I’m sure we can beat that this year! There are so many EXCITING things being auctioned off this year. All the money will go to Seattle Children’s. Obviously I believe FIRMLY in what Childrens is doing. Their donations are down 35% and of course with all the lay offs and the economy, “Uncompensated care” is WAY UP!
Right now, the plan is great food, great fun, Joey Jewell may even be coming, and I will be sharing our expereience with Children’s and a photo slide show and song and Cara Rudd will be performing and of course amazing items for auction.
I am so grateful to you, my friends, who are helping with this and ALL the donations we’ve pulled together so far!
There is not a website for this event, so word of mouth, email and this site has the information…
So, please, check your calendars, and try to come…let’s celebrate “stability” together and Seattle Children’s!
